Four people, one family. Between them they run the shop, the dispatch desk, the sewer camera crews and every commercial account on the coast.
Founder & Master Plumber
39years with ABC · since 1987
Decades on the coast, and Frank is still the first one to crawl under a house. He specializes in old copper and galvanized systems and mentors every new hire.
Off the clock: Walks the Heisler Park bluffs at sunrise before the shop opens.
Office Manager & Head of Dispatch
27years with ABC · since 1999
Marisol has run the office and dispatch since 1999 and built the system that keeps every truck on time. She is the calm voice on the line when water is where it should not be.
Off the clock: Goes tide-pooling at Crystal Cove on the first low-tide weekend of every month.
Operations Manager & Sewer Specialist
22years with ABC · since 2004
Daniel earned his journeyman card in 2008 and now runs our camera inspection and trenchless repair crews. He is happiest when he can fix a main line without digging up your lawn.
Off the clock: Paddles out at Doheny State Beach whenever a south swell rolls in.
Customer Care & Commercial Accounts Lead
10years with ABC · since 2016
Elena joined in 2016 and looks after restaurants, HOAs and property managers up and down the coast. She makes sure every homeowner gets a call back the same day.
Off the clock: Runs the Top of the World trail on her lunch break when the marine layer lifts.
The crew
Newer plumbers ride along with seasoned ones, and everyone has a direct line to the dispatch desk. That is how a third-year apprentice and a twelve-year veteran can both give you the same answer.
Senior Service Plumber
12+years with ABC · since 2014
Marcus has spent more than twelve years on water heaters and tankless systems along the coast. He explains your options in plain English and never upsells.
Off the clock: Fishes off the Dana Point Harbor docks on his days off.
Leak Detection Technician
7years with ABC · since 2019
Priya uses acoustic and thermal tools to find hidden slab and wall leaks with minimal demolition. She is our go-to for mystery water bills.
Off the clock: Photographs the sunset at Main Beach most Sundays, and a few of her prints hang in the shop.
Apprentice Plumber, Third Year
2years with ABC · since 2024
Tyler is in his third year of a state-approved apprenticeship and handles fixtures, disposals and toilets under a journeyman’s watch. He keeps a notebook of every trick he picks up on the truck.
Off the clock: Grew up bodyboarding at Corona del Mar and still hits the waves after evening classes.
Dispatch Coordinator
8years with ABC · since 2018
Sofia works beside Marisol at the dispatch desk, matching the right plumber and truck to every call. She texts you when your plumber is on the way and calls if anything changes.

Commercial Service Lead
14years with ABC · since 2012
Darnell keeps restaurants, hotels and offices along the coast running, with after-hours work that keeps downtime short. He schedules preventive maintenance so the surprise calls come less often.
Off the clock: Keeps a running, very serious ranking of the best fish tacos on Coast Highway.
Journeyman Repipe Specialist
16years with ABC · since 2010
Ken is a journeyman who has repiped homes from Bluebird Canyon to Monarch Bay, usually finishing in a few days. He plans every route through the walls to keep drywall patching to a minimum.
Off the clock: Kayaks the kelp beds off Main Beach at first light.
Our standards
No matter which of us you meet, you can count on the same six things.
The work is done by a licensed plumber, or by an apprentice with a journeyman right beside them. Never an unsupervised beginner on your pipes.
Everyone who comes to your door has been screened before their first day, from the newest apprentice to the owner’s son.
You always know who is in your home. If anyone ever looks unfamiliar, call us and we will confirm who is on the way.
Floors, rugs and furniture stay protected while we work, and we clean up before we leave so the only thing that changes is the plumbing.
A flat-rate price in writing before any work starts. If a diagnostic visit comes first, that fee is credited toward the repair when you go ahead.
One year on repairs and five years on installations and repipes, with manufacturer equipment warranties passed straight through to you.
