Where we work

From the harbor to Monarch Beach, all of Dana Point

Dana Point is compact and varied: a working harbor and a walkable downtown at the center, beach-road homes at Capistrano Beach to the east and large bluff-top homes at Monarch Beach to the north. The pipes in each are different, and so are the calls we get.

We are about fifteen minutes down Coast Highway from the shop, so Dana Point is a regular stop on our routes. A typical emergency arrival is 60 to 90 minutes, and a real person answers every call, day or night.

Local know-how

What makes plumbing in Dana Point different

Dana Point’s plumbing challenges come from its mix: land that drops toward the sea, buildings that share pipes and a harbor full of busy kitchens. These are the four we see most.

  • 01

Bluff-top homes, where a leak is more than a bill

On a bluff, water matters twice. A leaking supply line, a broken irrigation line or a failed drain can soak the soil near a slope edge, and that is a problem long before the water bill shows it. We treat bluff-top leaks as urgent: Priya Nair finds the source with acoustic and thermal tools, we stop the water and we show you exactly what we found.

  • 02

1970s and ‘80s condos: aging copper and shared risers

Many Dana Point condo buildings were plumbed in the 1970s and early ‘80s, and the copper is showing its age with pinhole leaks and falling pressure. Shared risers mean one failure can reach several units, and a drip in your ceiling may start in the unit above. We coordinate with owners and property managers, schedule shut-offs for the least disruption and repipe in copper or PEX with a five-year written warranty.

  • 03

    Harbor-side restaurants and busy kitchens

Restaurants around the harbor and the Lantern District depend on grease interceptors, floor drains and hot water that never quits. Elena Alvarado-Reyes leads our commercial accounts, schedules maintenance for after closing and keeps emergency service available when a drain backs up mid-service.

  • 04

    Hard water scale

Hard water is a fact of life along this stretch of coast. Over the years scale clogs showerheads, strains tankless water heaters and shortens the life of valves and fixtures. We flush and descale heaters, and for homes that want a lasting fix we install whole-home filtration or a softener sized to the household.

Neighbors say

What Dana Point neighbors tell us

Dana Point runs on word of mouth, from the harbor docks to the condo association meeting. Here is what two neighbors told us.

4.9 average from 1,800+ reviews

  • “A grease line backed up at our harbor restaurant on a Friday night. Elena had a plumber at the back door in about an hour and a half, and we were open for the late seating. They also showed us how to keep it from happening again.”

    Sam T., Dana Point Harbor
  • “Our 1980s condo kept springing pinhole leaks in the copper. Marcus showed us the corroded pipe, put the repipe price in writing and scheduled around the HOA’s work hours. The crew wore shoe covers the whole time.”
